Cat age in human years

On the AAHA/AAFP/International Cat Care chart, with the life stage — not “times four”.

Fill in the fields above and the result appears on its own.

How it is calculated

A one-year-old cat is 15 human years, a two-year-old is 24 — after that, four human years are added per cat year. Between the chart's published anchors the value is interpolated linearly. Under one year this tool declines to answer, for the same reason as the dog version: no published conversion holds at that age.

Where this comes from

This is an estimate from publicly published rules, not veterinary advice. A sick, nursing or pregnant animal is a vet's decision.
